SAGAR MAVANI

FOUNDER

I am a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and a Fellow of Financial Accountants (FFA), with a BSc in Accounting & Finance from Cardiff University. I have held senior positions in businesses with experience spanning 15 years in the UK and the Middle East in industries such as retail, hospitality, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, real estate, manufacturing, financial technology, FMCG and accountancy practice. I currently serve as Managing Director of Mavani Shah and Co Limited, an accountancy practice based in Harrow. My career has taken me into various business structures including private equity, SME, multi-entity, listed and ultra high net-worth individuals, with my most notable roles serving as Group Chief Financial Officer of Laura Ashley, a listed international retailer based in London, UK and as Finance Director for a Aamal Company QPSC, a listed company based in Doha, Qatar. 

Founding ASA Advisory is a thought I had several years ago. Now feels like the right time to spring to action. For several years, I have taken a keen interest in how the numbers illustrate a business' performance. I am passionate about improving business outcomes. At a time of uncertainty and unprecedented change, I am intent on optimising business performance for our clients. I want to ensure we serve not just the business, but its customers. My experience has provided me with the necessary skills to understand a business' key drivers and drive successful change. 

Outside of the work place, I have a keen interest in playing golf (not the best handicap!), football, snooker, pool and cricket.
